"Later on All" is a song past Canadian electronic music group Delerium, with vocals provided by Swiss singer Jaël.[i] Information technology was the commencement single released from the album Chimera.

Overview [edit]

In accordance with the mode taken by Delerium on Chimera, "Later on All" fits the pop music mold more than most of the group's music produced to date. This is axiomatic in the song's construction, which takes the traditional verse-chorus grade of contemporary popular rock, too as tighter songwriting, with a consummate absenteeism of the extended ambient musical sections present in Delerium songs equally recent as those on Poem.

The pop music course is as well recognisable in the instruments in the song, including prominent use of acoustic guitar riffs.

The song received minor airplay on adult contemporary format radio stations, reflecting it being more in line with the fashion contemporaneous mainstream music.

Release [edit]

The unmarried release, equally with all prior Delerium single releases since "Silence", marketed the song for social club play by commissioning remixes (as with previous singles), this fourth dimension from Svenson & Gielen,[1] who had remixed previous Delerium songs as Airscape, and Satoshi Tomiie.

In improver, a remix contest held by label Nettwerk in the months before the single's release solicited remixes from amateur producers, with the prize beingness the inclusion of the winning remix on the anthology. The winning entry by Andrew Sega was also included on some releases of the single,[ii] equally well as some other entry, by Adrian Schubert.

A music video was also produced, directed by Stephen Scott. Information technology showed vocalist Jaël exploring a deserted, seemingly mail service-apocalyptic urban center. Two versions were edited, 1 to the anthology version and another to an edit of the Svenson & Gielen remix of the vocal; each version includes one or ii brief shots not seen in the other. Scott would afterward direct the music video for "Angelicus" from Nuages du Monde, which as well uses a post-apocalyptic city setting.
